不知道各位在说英文时想说「之类的」时会不会说 or something like that，如果你有这个习惯，不妨学习其他相关正式与非正式的说法！
et cetera 等等、诸如此类
et cetera 源自拉丁语，et 表示「和」；cetera 意为「其余」，合起来就是「和其他」。拼法有 et cetera、etcetera、etc。
要注意的是，et cetera 只能用在物品上，如果是人物则要使用 et al.，不过在口语当中不常出现，只会在引用多位共同作者发表的书籍或学术文章看见，例如：
Bowie, Johnson, Brown, et al., 2022
正式表达
介绍完 et cetera 的由来及用法，我们来看一些其他关于「等等」的正式与非正式表达～
~ and so on(and so forth)
and so on 有种继续的感觉，所以常常用在「相似事物」来表示等等之意。
At the meeting, we’ll need to discuss the budget, the schedule, staffing and so on.我们在会议当中需要讨论预算、行程、员工等等事务。
有时候后面会加上 and so forth 或单独使用 and so forth，意思全都一样。
Language lessons can help you improve things like pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and so on and so forth.语言课程能够帮助你改善发音、文法、单字等等。
~ and the like
这一个表达方式与 and so on 相同。
The farmer's market has stands selling fruit, baked goods and the like.农夫市集里有卖水果、烘焙等相关商品的摊贩。
~ and whatnot
这一个表达方式并不常见，在难以清楚形容的事物上才会使用 whatnot。
The scientist’s laboratory was filled with strange devices, crazy inventions and whatnot.这位科学家的实验室充满著罕见的装置、疯狂的发明等事物。
~ and what have you
对于英文母语者来说，不是 you have 而是 have you 听起来也很奇怪，但这仍是一个常见的表达方式！
The festival will include different kinds of entertainment, such as musical performances, dancing, art exhibitions and what have you.这个祭典将包含不同的娱乐活动，像是音乐表演、舞蹈、艺术展览等等。
~ and such
and such 也是一个常见的用法。
The hotel breakfast only includes simple things like cereal, bagels and such.这间饭店的早餐包含像是麦片、贝果等简易食物。
非正式表达
~ and stuff like that
这个说法可能很多人都听过，stuff 也可以由 things 代替。
She has a large collection of vintage items like rare coins, classic vinyl records and stuff like that.她有大量复古收藏，像是少见的铜板、经典黑胶唱片等物。
~ blah, blah, blah
blah, blah, blah 在台湾也很常使用，不管是中文，还是英文，这个说法都非常不正式，只限于熟人之间使用，说的时候也常配著手势一起说。
The meeting was about sales numbers, budgets, blah, blah, blah. The usual stuff.那场会议是关于销售额、预算吧啦吧啦，就是一些平常的东西。
不想听别人说话，或是在吵架的时候，也可以用 blah, blah, blah 来敷衍了事。
The company tweeted an apology for their controversial ad and promised to do better in the future, blah, blah, blah.这间公司发推特为争议广告道歉，说以后会做得更好，一堆废话。
一个 blah 也可以用作名词或形容词，意思一样。
The documentary was filled with a lot of blah about things I didn't care about.整部纪录片都是一些我不在乎的鸟事。
This soup tastes really blah. It needs some salt.这碗汤喝起来真的不怎么样，需要加点盐。
yadda yadda yadda (or yada yada yada)
yadda yadda 和 blah, blah, blah 很像，只是比较不常见。
That event was the same old thing it always is: boring speeches, snobby guests, yadda yadda yadda. I’ve seen it a million times before.这个活动和以前一样就是一些无聊的致词、爱慕虚荣的宾客之类的东西，我已经看过几百万次了。
