bring, take, get, fetch, carry都有拿的意思，他们的用法有何区别呢?

让Engoo小编告诉你！首先我们可以将以上五个单字简单区分成三大类，

分别是bring/take、fetch/get、carry：

 

1. bring/take

bring 和 take 是反义词，他们之间最大的不同是「方向」，

以说话者为准，bring 表示从别处把某人或物「带来」或「拿来」，

take 则指把某人或物「带走」或「拿走（到别处）」。

 

Don’t forget to bring some food to the party at my house.

来参加我家派对时别忘了带一些食物过来。

The policeman brought the children home.

那个警察把孩子们带回家了。

Don't forget to take your wallet.
别忘了带走你的钱包。

Can you take me to this address?

你可以带我去这个地方吗?

 

【补充】

如果在后面接上 out，则 bring out 和 take out 则有相同的意思，表示拿出来。例：

John took/brought/got out his laptop and searched the book on the Internet.

John拿出笔电，并在网路上搜寻这本书。

2. fetch/get

fetch 和 get 在语意上意思相近，都有到别处把某物或某人带来的意思，

相当于go and bring的意思，fetch为英式而get则是美式口语常见的用法。

 

Shall I get/fetch you your homework from home？

要不要我帮你从家里带作业来？

It’s time to get/fetch our children from their cram school. 

去补习班接孩子的时间到了。

 

【补充】

虽然 fetch 和 get 都已经包含 go 的意思，

但是口语上go and get/fetch 这类用法还是很常见，例：

Go and get your paper. 去把你的论文拿来。

Let’s go and fetch some snacks. 我们去拿一些点心吧！

3. carry

carry 则是指随身携带，在中文意义上有搬、提、拿、扛、抬、抱、背、带等等解释，

但是并没有具体说明来去的方向，有时carry也带有沉重或麻烦的意思。

 

The soldier carried the boxes into the room. 

那些士兵将箱子搬进室内。

Sandy carried her suitcase and went to work. 

Sandy提著她的手提箱去上班。

Please carry the empty bottles off. 

请把那些空瓶子拿走。

They carried the injured man away on a stretcher.

他们用担架把伤员抬走。

Andy carried his pets in his arms. 

Andy把他的宠物们抱在怀里。

He carried a box on his back. 

他背著一个箱子。

Tina never carries much money.

Tina从不带很多钱。
