Transition to reading must include this part, otherwise it will be dreadful for both kids and parents.

So make sure your kid learns phonics before they approach any reading.

And finally, graded readers and picture books.

There are so many picture books and graded readers out there and you don't know which one to choose.

The most important thing is that you need to choose something your kid really likes, because it's all about their interest.

If they like it, they'll do it.

Reading habit is one of the essential study habits and so it should be developed at a young age, but not until they develop listening, speaking and learn phonics.
